Sophie Bunn – bio

  • Sophie grew up with a mother who was a yoga teacher and consequently has been practicing yoga all her life. Classical yoga as a child taught her the benefits of yoga immediately and this developed her fascination with consciousness and the transformative affects of focussing the mind ever since. Sophie has a Bachelor of Science with a psychology major and is certified in yoga teaching through the Australian Yoga Teachers Network and Donna Farhi’s Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. She has been director of education at body flow yoga, her own business, for 13 years and taught at gyms, hospitals, corporate offices, schools, on retreats in Lorne and in Bali as well her studio spaces in St Kilda, Prahran and Port Melbourne. She was a tutor at the Melbourne’s CAE advanced diploma of yoga teaching and has her Certificate IV in Workplace Training. She has been practicing for 33 years and teaching for 13 years.
